| Baby Care Instructions
Congratulations on your adoption! You have chosen a high quality artist reborn by Mystical Nursery. If cared for properly, your baby will bring many years of joy, delight and comfort to your and yours. Regardless of which division of Mystical Nursery you have purchased from, the love and care of your new baby remains the same. Your baby is no longer a play doll. She is now an heirloom quality collectible and needs to be handled as such. Small children should never be permitted to play with such an item A good rule of thumb for handling you baby is that you should handle her in the manner in which you would handle a real newborn baby. Your baby should be kept away from extreme heat and cold. Heat is dangerous for your baby because her vinyl can become very soft and pliable when heated, and it can become warped or blistered, or even melt. Extreme cold can cause the vinyl to crack, and peel. Due to this she should never be left in any conditions which would cause damage to your beautiful baby. Your baby should be kept away from excessive moisture, which can cause damage to her blushing and cloth body. Cigarette smoke can discolor your baby and leave a sticky residue on the baby. If you or someone in your household smokes, a protective covering is recommended to protect the surface of your precious baby. Your baby’s hair is hand rooted mohair. It has been sealed on the inside of her head to help keep it from coming out. Should it become dusty, it can be gently brushed to remove the dust. Her hair can be gently brushed and combed and can be lightly moistened. Mohair has a tendency to bunch and mat so extreme tenderness should be used when combing out mats. Your baby wears size 0-3 month real infant clothing. Her outfit can be removed for washing. Care should be taken when posing your baby. Her arms and legs can be gently posed but should never be forced. Extreme pressure on the seams of her body can cause undue stress and tearing. Her head can gently be turned from side to side, but it should never be forced. Your baby’s eyelashes, lips and nails are sealed in place for protection, but they should not be handled. The lashes can be pulled off and the nails can be chipped with force. If your baby is ever in need of repair of any sort, please contact us for helpful tips and advice.
